To protect both the child’s and the parents’ interests in preserving the stability of their family relationship, adoption cannot be revoked.

Adoption creates the same legal bond between the adoptive parents and the adopted child as it would have been created by birth. Therefore, once it is finalised, adoption cannot be revoked. Rights and obligations of the adoptive parents towards their adopted child are the same as in case of biological parents and may in certain situations be restricted or withdrawn. Invalidity of adoption

If certain conditions for adoption laid down by law have not been complied with, the adoption is invalid and its legal consequences never occur.
