As an adoptive parent, you have the same rights and obligations towards your adopted child as the parents of a biological child. These rights and obligations include the right to parental custody, access to your child and the obligation to provide for your child. 

You may also apply for all family protection and support mechanisms provided by the state, such as, social security benefits.

With the conclusion of the adoption procedure, all personal and property rights and obligations of the biological parents towards the child are terminated.
