The Association for non-violent communication (DNK - Društvo za nenasilno komunikacijo – in Slovene) is a non-governmental, non-profit and humanitarian organization tackling issues of violence against women and children, peer violence as well its prevention and mitigation of its consequences.
How can it help you
DNK is committed to active prevention of violence and offers guidelines for non-violent communication skills and conflict resolution in interpersonal relationships.
For victims of violence: DNK offers a broad range of services along with a safe house for women, social advocacy, legal aid and accompanying to institutions for victims of violence, self-help group, help in cases of sexual violence etc.
For children: individual counselling, group work
For perpetrators: individual counselling and social skills training
For general public: information, counselling, educational activities, lectures, round tables, publications, research and publishing of articles and papers concerning violence and non-violent communication etc.
