PIC (Pravni center za varstvo človekovih pravic in okolja - in Slovene) is a non-governmental organization protecting human rights and the environment.
PIC provides professional legal support to individuals, vulnerable groups and non-governmental organizations in exercising and protecting their rights and strengthening their position in the society.
How can it help you
Protection of vulnerable groups
PIC provides support and protection for vulnerable groups (people with disabilities, victims of domestic violence, victims of human trafficking, the elderly etc.) by providing various types of legal assistance. In case you faced a violation of your rights they help you and react to the violation by consultation, filing legal remedies and proposing the change of legislation. They actively endeavour to ensure non-discriminatory treatment for vulnerable people and protection from discrimination.
Protection of asylum applicants, refugees, foreigners, migrants
PIC offers you legal counselling and information regarding your status, protection, and your access to social, economic and other rights.
Furthermore, they endeavor to provide effective legal protection of the environment.
