The Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec – in Slovene) is a state institution that supervises the implementation of, and compliance with, the rules of personal data protection and access to public information in Slovenia.

How can it help you

If you believe that your right to personal data protection has been violated or somebody has unjustifiably interfered with your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner by reporting the violation on their website. Furthermore, they help you access your personal data if the personal data controller does not allow access, as well as to public information if the authority does not respond to you or denies your request.
